A cathedral veil would look great with that dress.
Cathedral veils are easy to make. You can probably find a ton of directons on line (I made mine using wegotgame.net but I think that site's been taken down)

I agree. Your gown is very elegant and fancy, a cathedral veil would add to the elegance, but not make it too over the top.

i agree with you guys...i think a cathedral veil would look lovely. I think i'll wear a fingertip veil to the reception, though. Just so that i don't have to juggle with the length of the cathedral.

You can make it detachable.
That's what I did. Add it to a comb with velcro; when you're done wearing it, zip off the veil.

I am honestly thinking that I will not wear my veil to the reception at all. I guess I will see when the day comes, but I am wearing a fingertip veil and it is longer than I thought it would be, (I borrowed it from my cousin and she is 6'1"). I have heard that veils get in the way when you are trying to dance.
