I am thinking about standing order of the BMs and GMs during the ceremony.  Do you place them in order of height or just whomever goes where ever?  Would like some input, please.  I have very drastic height differences between the bridal party, but did not know if height is something that needs to be taken into consideration...  Thanks!

Don't kill yourself over these small details :-)

Of course you want your MOH and BM on either side of you guys. If you want to place them in order of hight after that that's fine, but you don't have to. My BMs ended up being pretty much symmetrical, on accident actually, but the GM weren't.

It just wasn't a detail that I stressed about.

Thanks misma!  For once, I was not stressing, just curious.  :o)  I do tend to overthink things...  I will make sure I keep that in mind as I continue through the small stuff!

Your photographer might put people in height order for pictures, but it doesn't necessarily matter too much.

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding a couple of weeks ago. We were in alphabetical order (we were lined up as written in the program), but it oddly turned out that the bridesmaids and groomsmen were well-paired for height. Completely by accident.

If you're talking 6 or more inches of height difference, you might want to take that into consideration, since a short person is going to feel REALLY short sandwiched between two significantly taller people, but it's just not something you should spend time agonizing about.
