Ok me and my fiance are getting married on a Friday night. Most of our family know how to get the small town the church is in. What I'm not for sure how to do is to set up signs or something guiding the way to the church. Since it's at night I can't really use balloons like most ppl do or signs. I'm on a small tight budget so I don't really wanna pay for expensive lighting. I really am stuck on what to do please help. All ideas would be appreciated.

Honestly, don't worry about it.  Make sure the guests have the address in the invites along with maybe a small map on plain paper that shows how to get there via the major highways/roads.  Your guests will be able to find it without a problem.  I've been to over 30 weddings so far and there have only been 2 that had the signs/balloons and that was only because the churches were in the boonies.

You can make signs using reflective tape. I think they sell it in home improvement stores. I want to say near the mailboxes and driveway reflectors. I know we have it in the stairwells at work.

Also, there are little LEDs that make balloons glow. I've seen them in the floral and wedding aisles at craft stores. I also just googled "balloon led lights" and found a website that sells them.

WHat about tea candles in sand-filled paper bags? Our neighborhood does that during the holidays. we line the street with them and it looks really pretty.

If they're a fire hazard, you could mimic the look with led candles or something.

I thought about doing that but that's a lot of led candles and paper bags cause it's prolly a good two miles into the town.

Thank you all for the replies. It's really a big help.

you can buy these little LED lights that go in balloons! and also posters with reflective tape in the same colors, mostly though people should be able to find the way if u give directions or a map
