Not sure what you are looking for. Are you doing a ceremony in a chruch or having it elsewhere. What are your plans so far?

THat really depends on you religion and location and guests.  I would find a Hindu ceremony very interesting but some people find Catholic Mass interesting.

the Ceremony is in a park, kinda garden party like.  Were Christian doing fairly traditional voews but we have lots of space for creativity my dad is doing the ceremony and understands I'm a bit of a free spirit.

If there are not opposed you cold walk down the aisle to something other that a traditional wedding march. Maybe pick a different song that fits both your personalities.

I know someone who is getting married in a park on a stage and they are both theater types. They decided for their ceremony they were going to act out the first time they met. Also, she is not wearing a traditional wedding gown. It is brown, not sure what the feel of it is, but everytime I keep picturing it I think Renesannse (sp?) but I could be totally off.

If it's like garden party, are you going for high tea in England feel? Maybe you could serve your guests tea and biscuits while waiting for you to do your vows.

  • Along the aisle, do you have flowers?
  • Were you planning to dance down the aisle together to be different?

LOL with Dana, that would certainly save on your dress expense

You should use parasols or place fans on the chairs, that has a garden party feel to it.

We are doing a traditional  christian ceremony too. to be a little different I have decided to take a communion after our vows and before the unity candle all in one song though ! Its something different and very beautiful!!! Good Luck and Best wishes!~!!!
