 My Fiance and I want to plan a wedding on a cruise, and I have some general questions, before I call up Royal Carribean, maybe someone who has done one can give me some insight...



I have researched a little bit, and we are looking to have an in-port ceremony, that way people who cannot cruise with us can atleast attend the ceremony. I have read that some ships allow a "day pass" for those people who cannot go on the cruise. Who pays for that day pass? Us? Them? What's an average cost of this?



That is my major concern right now haha, I know that a cruise wedding is going to be a lot cheaper than having a normal ceremony and reception. I love that is it a whole package deal.



If there is any other things you all can think of please help a bride to be out!!

 Hello,
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!  I am a Honeymoon and Destination Specialist with Ship to Shore Travel located in East Northport, NY.  We have done many destination weddings! 
The only problem with having your guests meet you at the port for your ceremony is that sometimes cruises have to change their itinerary for various reasons.  If that happens your guests will not be able to attend your ceremony and they will have traveled for nothing. 
There are many destinations that offer very inexpensive weddings, some even FREE!  And depending on how many guests you have you may be able to get group rates at the hotel.
