What weight cardstock is heavy enough to back invitations? I bought a BRIDES DIY kit and I am not happy with how flimsy they are. I went to Michaels today and the only kind they had in bulk was 65lb,

I went to Michaels today and the only kind they had in bulk was 65lb, which I know is not good enough to make the invites sturdy. Thanks!

i also made my own invites. I used 90lb white art paper from michaels. it had deep texture, and held up beautifully. its not in the typical cardstock area, its by the painting supplies at Michaels. it comes in big sheets you get to cut up. There are a variety of thickensses there to choose from. I actually printed on this, and then used cardstock to back them. I think the thicker, the better! Good Luck!

We're thinking at bare minimum, 80 lb.  But we're having a few layers with the paper as well, and that is going to help us in the long run.
