 Where did or will you go on your honeymoon?  If you are unsure, read on to see where other's have gone, or where they are planning to go...

I'll start off - We took a Royal Caribbean Cruise to the South Caribbean.  It was perfect for us, since the first day, we were at sea, and gave us the extra time to relax before going out and exploring the islands.

We went to 4  islands, starting with our port of call, Puerto Rico (where you pick up the boat from)
- Aruba
- Curacao
- St. Maarten
- St. Thomas

There are many great things to list about cruises, and I can't list them all here, but it was a lot of fun, you could be formal, and you could be casual.  There was time to explore the islands, and then participate in activities that the crew had planned.  There was the beaches, spa, food! (too much food), and just looking out from the balcony, or taking quiet walks in the middle of the night, on top the track on the ship...

We completely recommend it, and it's a trip that we can go to again and again, since we didn't fully explore the islands, and go on all of the excursions that we could have done...

 We're not really "beach people" so we went to western Montana in February for our honeymoon :D

It was really cool, a winter wonderland. And we had the national parks/surrounding towns basically to ourselves. Awesome.

We rented a vacation home for a week - complete with all the amenities AND a hot tub ;)

 We are going to Sandals Ocho Rios. It will be our first time away from the kids and a much needed vacation.

 We went to Disney World. Since we have a son, we wanted a honeymoon that would be fun for all of us. And since my husband and son had never been there before, it was a new experience for them and I was glad to be a part of it.

kpwedkk - We went on a Princess cruise last year and we loved it. I would absolutely do it again. And again! lol. There was just so much to love about it.

 We're going to Oahu, Hawaii, about a week after our wedding. Neither of us are sit-on-the-beach people, but we're psyched about swimming with dolphins, kayaking, hiking, checking out the zoo and aquarium (we like animals), etc.

 We are pretty sure we're going to Chicago.  We actually lived in the city for 3 years before returning to NC, but my fiance spent a lot of time traveling with work so didn't really get to enjoy all there is to do there.  Besides, we're getting married in August so we can't see any reason to go farther south in the hottest part of the year.  We can hit the north ave. "beach" on lake michigan, go to our favorite restaurants that we miss, check out the museums, free live music at Millenium and Grant park, and meet up with our old friends.  Smile

 We went to Brazil - I would definitely recommend it for a romantic, unique trip - the tripped we booked is http://www.luxury-honeymoons.com/brazil.html including the beaches of Bahia, Salvador and Rio. Great in the summer months too.

  Possibly,  an Alaskan Cruise will do it for my future honeymoon. Been too busy with upkeeping our homes in sonoma, ca and maui, hi.  We have the best of both worlds.  Need to experience something out of the ordinary.

 We are going to Tahiti for our July honeymoon. It's somewhere I've always wanted to go and although we don't a huge budget, I was determined to make it work somehow. So we're staying on Tahiti for three nights at the Manava Suite Resort and then on to Moorea where we'll stay at a private garden bungalow called Te Nunoa for almost a week. It looks gorgeous (http://www.mooreabungalow.com/gallery.htm), totally private and it will give us more of an experience of living there like a local which is exactly what we wanted.

 My Fiance and I will be going to Disney World. I think this is an all around great place for a Honeymoon! It's a romantic, fun, and relaxing place all rolled into one! I was there when I was 12, and my Fiance has never been and he is so excited! It's so cute. Our wedding is in September so it won't really be the busy season either. We like to go out and do things; my fiance is not one to just lay on the beach all day, so I think this will be the most perfect Honeymoon spot for us. I can't wait!!! :)

 We really didn't take a full honeymoon.  We got a reservation at a very nice hotel and had dinner at the restaurant.  It had a great view and food.  The restaurant was one that moved and we got to watch the whole city go by as we ate dinner.  Hopefully we can take a real honeymoon in December or around our 1st anniversity, we just didn't have the money right now especially since we paid for the wedding ourselves.

 We are going to Disney World as well.   I lived in the area for 14 years before moving to BF Illinois.  I have been there around 100 times.   FH has been there once when he was 12 but doesn't remember it too well.  We are spending a week there and then spending a week in Jacksonville (where I really did grow up).  I wanted more than anything to get married there (it's like my little magical haven...I'm a disney sap...sorry) but it cost way too much for out little budget.
...Love is our best friend, our helper, and the healer of the ills which prevent us from being happy...

 We're getting married in June, but probably won't be taking a honeymoon until the fall (giving ourselves time to save money again after the wedding). We haven't quite decided on a destination, but are definately thinking of Europe - maybe Prague or Italy...

p.s. - Royal Caribbean cruises are AWESOME! Laughing 
That would definately be a honeymoon possiblity if Europe doesn't work out.

 We are going to Chicago also, in August also. We went last summer for just three days and loved it. This time it will be for a week. Of course we are going to see some Cubs games and this time take in the dueling pianos after the game. We missed that last time. We also are intrigued by the BYOB restaurants so we are going to one that was reccomended to us. We will go to a play while we are there and of course try to get into a comedy show. Whew....and in there some where we will try and relax a little. Tongue out

 We went to Maui, HI.... for a week.  The most expesitive part really was getting there...the flights are crazy.  But it was worth it !  We had the best time, relaxing on the beach, golfing and being together.

 We are going to spend a night in San Antonio (first vacation as a dating couple and he wants it to be our first as amarried couple) then on to Grand Lido Negril. All inclusive. the fiance made all the arrangements. Very proud of him. I looked it up online and I am ultra impressed!

 We are going to Las Vegas. Our wedding is at the end of July and I couldn't find a nice tropical place that isn't hot and humid. Yes, I know Vegas is also hot and humid during this time of year, but it is a fraction of the cost and has air conditioning! Not to mention there fabulous pools!

We are going to catch a Cirque de Solei show as well as any other shows or concerts we can find. We ate at a great restaurant in the Venician years ago so we are going to go back their. For all that Vegas offers you can't beat the price!! Wink

 We are planning of flying to Barcelona Spain, then take a 7 night cruise (Royal Caribbean) to France,Venice,  Florence, more parts of Italy, Greece, .... then back to Spain... looking so forward to it..:)

 We're getting married in January near Chicago and want to get away to somewhere warm.  It was between a South American cruise or a Hawaiian vacation (we've been to neither).  We decided on Hawaii ultimately.  My fiance's parents are helping us out A LOT with the honeymoon.  His dad travels for buisness and has racked up a ton of frequent flyer miles.  We're using some of the miles to fly first class to Honolulu.  We're staying a few days on Waikiki beach at a resort before departing on an island hopping cruise through NCL.  My best friend's parents own a couple of resort hotels on Oahu, so we're going to be spending additional time at one of their resorts after the cruise.  It's going to be a complete dream honeymoon, and I can't wait!

 We actually got in engaged on a Cruise last december, after he came back from a year in iraq, totally amazing but wanted to do something different for the honeymoon. So were are going to Belize, while I would be happy to hang on the beach all week my FI  could only do that for about 2 hours so we picked somewhere that had lots of different things to do like hike temples and zip line though the trees. Going in December, can't wait!

 We spent our second honeymoon in Bohol, Philippines last April and I should say it's one of the bests. The island is sorrounded by the beautiful sea and there are lots of things to see like Tarsier, Chocolate Hills, Loboc floating restaurant and Panglao beach.  We are getting married in Oct and taking a few days, but my fiance who has been to Disney before wanted to do it at Christmas, so our honemoon will be 2nd week in December and we will still be home for holiudays with the family.   he booked everything last fall.

 I wish I knew where I was going for my honeymoon.  My parent's planned it and it's a surprise.  They gave my fiance and me little tidbits however have not told us where we're going.  All we know is we're going somewhere warm and we don't need passports.  Other than that I know we're leaving at 630 AM Sunday morning and returning on Friday.  I'm getting kind of antsy about knowing where we are going so I can buy some new outfits.

 We are going to stay at Wyndham - Waikiki Beach Walk - Honolulu, HI. Flights are CRAZY expensive but I think it will be worth it.    

To anyone who has been to Honolulu, HI can you share some advice on cool things to do.
