At first we were thinking about doing the Disney land and sea package or going to Hawaii, but need to spend the least amount of money as possible We live in Minnesota so I was thinking about going up to the north shore or to brainerd. Id love to do somthing special though but I have no idea.

We couldn't afford an expensive honeymoon either but we had fun in Las Vegas. Neither of us had ever been, and you can get some really good deals.

I really want to do the Disney but I don't know about the crowds on the cruise ship and august being really hot.

I also like the vegas idea but I would be worried about all the casinos I know theres other stuff to do too though lol I need to get a travel agent I think.

I can't say enough about going to see a travel agent. Before you go make sure that they don't request any money up front. Typically they get paid from the companies that they book (disney travel, mirage, etc.). We went to a travel agency just to get some ideas and the AAA was wonderful! They were great, and I don't even live in Chicago where my FH is. It's a good place to start. Make positive that you give them an idea of your budget.

As weird as it sounds too...a good place where I started? The weather channel website. www.weather.com offers a great amount of information about places that are well known honeymoon spots, hawaii, greece, la, etc. They'll give you the ideas of what's a good time to go, when is in season, when's not. We're thinking of going to the south pacific so we started out knowing nothing.
