Hi all, I'm getting married in April 2012 and we need cheap linens... But I want it to look nice as well.. We cant afford the 1500 that the woman wanted to rent it for thats just crazy to me. I went to party city to see how much it was there and for 13 tables it would be around 500 and thats plastic... then what do you do with it? Please help.... I'm so deppressed when I'm supposed to be happy with my wedding 2 months away....

Do you have a caterer? They have deals with party supply companies to get your linens...
You can certainly get very nice paper tablecloths (that have plastic backing) for $5 each at most stores.
Have you checked with any party rental places? You should be able to rent white table linens for under $500.
Let me know details/specifics and we can come up with more ideas ....

Im in Nassau County, Long Island and there is a company called Table Wear, their website doesnt look like much but their prices are very cheap. My uncle is a florist and he reccommended this lady. I had to order table cloths for my engagement party and i think it only cost be about $100.

As a caterer, I buy linens a lot rather than rent because i know i can resell to brides.
I have even bought things back. This is a great way to go.
Example: i bought chair covers two years ago, rented them, sold them at cost, and bought them back a year later.
